  6. The Building of Brasíla illustrates the theme of Human-Environment interaction because the people took the 3500 ft. bare plateau and turned it into a construction site overnight. This construction site later turned into a brand new city roughly in the shape of an airplane. From a flat plateau, to an astounding city built from scratch.

  7. The Building of Brasilia illustrates the theme of Human-Environment Interaction because the people took a barren plateau and overnight turned it into a construction site, which later turned into a new city that was shaped like an airplane. This quick change from a plateau to a city was remarkable.

  23. The building of Brasilia illistrates the theme of human-enviormental interaction because it is an example of how humans modify their envirorment. Brasilia was built on a empty, uninhabited plateau, which was changed into a thriving, modern city. It it is also an example of humans adapting to their envirorment, because everything they needed to build was sent in by raft on the nearby river.

  29. Brasilia was something created entirely by man. (Just a thought--humans're different from animals pretty much only because we choose to adapt our environment to us, instead of the other way around.) They interacted with the environment--a barren desert of a plateau--and transformed/adapted it into the airplane capital of Brazil. Another form of interaction was their dependence on the environment--the river used to transport materials and the plateau used to elevate the spectacle.

  34. Brasilia can be systemized into environmental interaction because, for one, it was fashioned by man. We, man, took something barren not only physically, but barren of life as well and transformed it into something quite contrasting. Now the fourth largest city in Brazil, Brasilia is anything but barren.
